Inside The Blockhouse, HNW’s latest Forum
Last week saw the latest instalment of our ‘HNW Forum’ series. These forums allow us the invaluable opportunity to step back from our day-to-day responsibilities, come together away from our desks, discuss and share our work, and explore broader issues facing the industry. Recent sessions have covered a range of topics from our sustainability roadmap and the integration of AI technologies, to effective project management tools. Additionally, we’ve showcased live projects to provide practical insights into our current work.
This forum took us to ‘The Blockhouse’ our recently completed build-to-rent community of 135 homes in the heart of Brighton. The team were treated to guided tours led by those who have lived and breathed the project over the past four years, followed by reflective sessions held in the splendour of the resident’s lounge.
We were delighted to be joined for part of that afternoon by Lucy and Heather from Brighton based charity ‘Bramber Bakehouse’. HNW have been supporting the work of Bramberbakehouse for some time and it was fantastic to hear more about the great work being done to support vulnerable women across Sussex.
The day ended with a collective gathering on the landscaped roof terrace, which enjoys breath-taking views of the Brighton skyline. A huge thanks to our friends and hosts at The Blockhouse Brighton for their fantastic hospitality on the day.
