Lee Davies, Director, Award Judge and Panel Chair presented the award on behalf of HNW Architects and said:
“My co-judges and I swiftly reached a unanimous decision, being thoroughly impressed by the clear enthusiasm and unwavering dedication displayed by the local community in their sustained efforts to save this iconic building from demolition. This project stands as the culmination of a journey for and with the local community, firmly at its heart.”

Winners are chosen through Virtual Judging interviews following shortlisting of entries. All those shortlisted were of a very high standard, congratulations to all the finalists!
