Starting our 35th year together
Ahead of HNW's 35th birthday, teams from across our three studios came together in London for a day away from our desks.
The day began with coffee, breakfast and a short presentation from the directors, reflecting on how far we've come and looking ahead to the year to come.
From there, we headed out on a guided urban realm tour through Nine Elms and Battersea, exploring one of London's most transformed neighbourhoods.

From there, we headed out on a guided urban realm tour through Nine Elms and Battersea, exploring one of London's most transformed neighbourhoods.
Our route took in Battersea Power Station, Embassy Gardens, the Northern Line extension, and the wider Nine Elms regeneration. It was an opportunity to see first-hand how the area has evolved over the last decade and the impact of large-scale investment, infrastructure and placemaking have reshaped this part of the city.
After lunch together, we enjoyed a more leisurely walk back towards Victoria before ending the day with a few competitive games of darts at Flight Club.
As well as being a great day out, it was a valuable opportunity for colleagues from Chichester, Brighton & Hove, and London to spend time together, share ideas and strengthen relationships and connections between our three studios.
It also gave us the chance to look ahead and marked the beginning of something bigger.
Our 35th birthday is not something we want to mark with just one day. Over the coming year, we'll be celebrating the people, places and possibilities that have shaped HNW.
We'll be sharing stories from our past, revisiting projects, hearing from colleagues old and new, giving something back to our communities, and creating a few new memories along the way.
There's plenty more to come as we celebrate 35 years, three studios, one team.
