University of Portsmouth Photography Studios

This exciting project, part of a series of recent collaborations with the University and contractor Overbury, has transformed a series of underutilised, cellular spaces within the department into bright, vibrant, open-plan studio spaces and editing suites. These new facilities are designed to encourage collaboration and creativity among students.

Key improvements include:

- Large, open-plan studios for group work and hands-on creativity

- New openings and sliding doors, replacing long, isolating corridors, fostering better visual and physical connectivity between studio, office, and support spaces.

- Improved heating and ventilation systems throughout.

This seamless refurbishment was carried out over the summer break and was delivered in time for the start of the 2024/2025 academic year.

This project reflects our continued commitment to delivering high-quality, functional, and inspiring educational spaces.
