AI in Construction - South East Construction Breakfast, Brighton
This morning, HNW were delighted to co-host the latest South East Construction Breakfast in Brighton — with a topical discussion on ‘AI in Construction’.
With our biggest turnout yet, it’s clear that AI is a subject on many people’s minds across the sector.
To help us explore this evolving landscape, we were joined by an expert panel bringing insights from professional consultancy, education, construction, and innovation:
• Poorang Piroozfar – University of Brighton • James Tournay-Godfrey – Managing Director, Turner Godfrey • Vassos Chrysostomou – COO, AI For Site & Lecturer, University of Westminster
The discussion was chaired by HNW Director Steve Duffy.
Conversations ranged from what we can (and already are) doing with AI today, to how the construction industry might evolve over the next 5–10 years, with some fascinating predictions along the way. While AI undoubtedly presents new challenges, from integration and ethics to data management, one positive theme consistently returned: the opportunity for us all to embrace AI as a powerful tool to better understand, communicate, and add value to what we all do.
A huge thank you to our panel, and to everyone who joined us — it was fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces.
