South Coast CPS Conference
HNW Architects directors Steve Duffy and Rosie Mitchell were pleased to attend the annual South Coast CPS in Southampton yesterday, joining hundreds of industry colleagues for a long and exciting day of discussion, insight and genuinely valuable conversations.
The event continues to be an important platform for bringing together key stakeholders from across the South Coast Region and beyond, to share knowledge, build connections and champion inward investment and development across the region.
Alongside reconnecting with so many familiar and new faces, some of the insightful sessions we attended and people we heard from included:
• ‘South Coast Industrial Market Update’, a lively panel discussing incoming legal changes, pricing, pipeline and market performance and expectations across the sector (with George Cook, Jon Hobbs, Bryony Thompson, Rachel Lacklison)
• ‘The Build Forward Alliance’, a panel discussion promoting the value of early contractor engagement to de-risk projects and add value. (with Kevin Valentine, Jon Daines, Jonathan Russell MRICS, Philip Marfleet, Neil O'Connell MEng CEng FICE FCIHT)
• ‘Expansion of the South Coast Gateway’ with updates from Associated British Ports on regional capacity and future opportunity. (with Andrew Mills, Ian Henderson, Tim Hook)
• ‘Navigating the BSA’, a timely workshop on compliance, clarity and practical delivery. (with Harry White BSc (Hons) MCIOB, Rachel Gimson,Dale Anderson Craig Wells)
